A Path Appears is a 2014 book by Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist couple who wrote Half the Sky. Published by Knopf, it looks at how ordinary people can help others effectively, whether by giving money, volunteering time or changing how they work. The authors report on programs addressing poverty, education, early childhood, teen pregnancy and sex trafficking, and weigh the evidence on which approaches work. The book was accompanied by a PBS documentary series of the same name.
